Financial Flexibility Index = (Operating Cash Flow − Capital Expenditures) / Total Liabilities
Also expressed as Free Cash Flow / Total Liabilities. Measures how much free cash flow a company generates relative to its total debt obligations. A positive ratio indicates the company generates free cash after capex; a high ratio signals strong financial flexibility to service debt, fund dividends, or invest in growth. Negative values indicate FCF deficits.
