Measures how many times over a company could theoretically repay its total debt from a single year of operating cash flow. A ratio of 0.5x means the company generates enough operating cash to repay half its total liabilities annually. A ratio above 1.0x is considered very strong debt coverage. This metric is widely used in credit analysis and financial health assessments.
